Lexus export from Dubai is dominated by one family of vehicles, and being clear about that saves a lot of time. The LX and its relatives account for most of the demand, most of the stock and almost all of the value, with the road-going saloons and crossovers a smaller trade alongside. If you want a Lexus for export the first question is whether you are in the large-SUV market or the passenger-car one. The export process is set out on our main export page, so none of it is repeated here.

Which Lexus models export from Dubai

Our range of export Lexus cars from Dubai groups into three.

Large SUVs. The LX600 is the volume vehicle, with the LX600 F Sport as its road-biased trim, the LX 700h as the hybrid, and the LX 500d where a diesel is wanted.

Mid-size and compact SUVs. The RX350 and GX 460 cover the family ground, with the NX 350, NX 300, NX 250 and NX 200t beneath them.

Saloons. The ES 300h and IS 300 are the passenger cars, and they are a much smaller part of this trade than the SUVs.

What you are buying: the stock profile

Two things about Lexus stock here are worth understanding before you shop. The first is that it is SUV-led to an unusual degree. Where most brands on the site offer a spread across body types, Lexus here is essentially a large-SUV business with some cars attached, and the depth of choice reflects that.

The second is the trim fragmentation on the LX in particular. The same underlying vehicle appears under several names, some of which carry genuinely distinct stock and some of which are subsets of the standard car. The LX600 F Sport holds its own cars; the Signature trim generally does not and its vehicles show on the standard LX600 listings too. Where a trim page exists, check whether the cars on it also appear on the parent before assuming you are looking at a separate pool.

Stock depth also thins quickly outside the LX. The large SUVs carry real choice on any given day; several of the smaller models and the saloons run to one or two vehicles at a time, which means a buyer with a specific requirement in those parts of the range should expect to wait rather than to select. Telling a dealer what you are after works better here than checking listings repeatedly.

Model naming compounds this. The badge on a Lexus indicates a trim and drivetrain combination rather than an engine capacity, so an LX600 does not carry a six-litre engine and an NX 350 does not carry a 3.5. The individual model pages state the real capacity, which is the figure that matters at the border.

Parts, service and resale at the destination

Lexus rides on Toyota underneath, and in export terms that is the single most useful fact about the brand. The mechanical packages are shared with vehicles sold in enormous numbers, so service items and common wearing parts are available far more widely than a premium badge would suggest. What is Lexus-specific tends to be trim, electronics and interior components rather than anything that stops the vehicle.

The one area that behaves like a premium brand is the electronics and the interior. Screens, seat mechanisms and the infotainment system are Lexus parts with Lexus prices and lead times, and in a market without an authorised dealer those are the items that wait. It rarely immobilises a vehicle, but it is worth knowing before promising a customer a quick repair.

Resale is the brand's strongest suit and the LX is exceptional at it. In the Gulf in particular these hold value better than any European equivalent, and demand consistently exceeds supply on the newer models. For a dealer buying stock rather than filling an order, that liquidity is worth as much as the margin.

Where Lexus sells best

The GCC takes the overwhelming share, with Saudi Arabia the largest and Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman behind it, all reachable overland and all with full dealer support. The LX is close to a default choice at the top of those markets. Iraq and Jordan take steady numbers.

Beyond the region the trade narrows considerably. Nigeria, Angola and Egypt account for most African interest, generally among buyers who already run something comparable, with North Africa steady in Libya and Morocco. Central Asia and the Caucasus buy the mid-size SUVs occasionally. Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia drive on the left and need right-hand drive, which our stock is not, so those markets are closed to us.

Duty and cost position

Lexus sits high on any schedule that charges by engine capacity, and that is the main constraint on where these vehicles can go. The LX family carries large engines and lands accordingly. The NX range is where the arithmetic softens, with smaller engines that clear thresholds the larger vehicles cannot.

The pattern that makes the brand work despite that is resale. A high landed cost on an LX is recoverable in a market that wants them, which describes most of the Gulf. The same bill on a vehicle nobody is asking for is not, which is why sending these speculatively into markets with thin Lexus demand rarely pays.

Choosing the right Lexus for your market

If you are supplying the Gulf, the LX600 is the vehicle and the duty is worth paying. If your market bands duty tightly, look at the NX range before anything larger. If you are considering a trim variant such as the F Sport, check whether it holds its own stock and whether your customers actually value the package, because the mechanical vehicle underneath is the same. And read the real engine capacity on the model page rather than inferring it from the badge. Our Lexus export dealers in Dubai can source a specification that is not standing today.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the badge tell me the engine size?

No. A Lexus badge indicates a trim and drivetrain combination rather than a capacity, so an LX600 does not carry a six-litre engine and an NX 350 does not carry a 3.5. Take the real figure from the model page and the VIN, because that is what the duty band is read from.

Why is the LX so dominant here?

Resale and demand. In the Gulf especially the LX holds value better than any European equivalent and demand consistently exceeds supply on the newer vehicles, so it sells on quickly. That liquidity matters as much as margin for a dealer buying stock rather than filling a specific order.

Are the LX trim pages separate vehicles?

It varies, and it is worth checking. The LX600 F Sport holds its own stock. The Signature trim generally does not, and its vehicles appear on the standard LX600 listings as well. Before treating a trim page as a separate pool, check whether the same cars show on the parent.

Is servicing a problem outside the Gulf?

Less than the badge suggests. Lexus shares its mechanical packages with Toyota vehicles sold in enormous numbers, so service items and common wearing parts are widely available. What is Lexus-specific is generally trim, electronics and interior components rather than anything that stops the vehicle.

Which Lexus is cheapest to land?

The NX range. Those use smaller engines that clear capacity thresholds the LX family cannot, so in a market that bands duty by displacement they are frequently the only Lexus that makes financial sense.

Which markets cannot take these vehicles?

Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and the other left-hand-traffic countries, which drive on the left and require right-hand drive vehicles. UAE stock is left-hand drive. The GCC, Iraq, Jordan, West Africa, North Africa and Central Asia are all open.
