The Prado and the Land Cruiser are not the same vehicle

Where finance is outstanding, the bank issues a liability letter and then a clearance certificate before ownership moves, for a private owner and a showroom on dealer floor plan finance alike.

Paperwork on the day

Two things trip people up here. The odometer reading written onto the transfer has to match the car you just drove, and a Prado bought for export leaves on a different route with different paperwork, so say which you are doing beforehand. Otherwise it is the original Mulkiya, the seller's Emirates ID, your identification, live insurance in your name, the RTA, and every fine cleared by the seller first.
