A used Jetour X90 Plus is a large Jetour family SUV with three rows of seats, a turbo petrol engine and a dual clutch automatic driving the front wheels. What the tailgate badge does not tell you is which engine you are getting. The car has been sold with a 1.6 litre turbo and with a stronger 2.0 litre turbo, and on most adverts for a Jetour X90 Plus for sale the trim simply reads Luxury, a name Jetour used with both engines. Settle that first, then compare kilometres, warranty and condition.

Buyers looking at a second hand Jetour X90 Plus in Dubai are mostly choosing between young cars, so wear is rarely the whole story. A Jetour X90 Plus used for a year of school runs and one that has covered motorway distance at the same age can share an asking price and be very different cars to own. Every used Jetour X90 Plus Dubai dealers list here is a GCC spec car, which keeps the service record traceable through the local Jetour network. A Jetour X90 Plus second hand also gets confused with the Jetour X90, a different model, and anyone searching for a Jetour X90 second hand or a Jetour X90 for sale should know the two cars apart before calling a seller.

1.6T or 2.0T: how to tell which X90 Plus you are looking at

Some sellers write the engine into the title, as in X90 Plus 1.6T Luxury. Most do not, and a listing that says only X90 Plus or X90 Plus Luxury could be either car. The two engines feel different on the road. The 2.0 litre turbo has the extra pull you notice with seven people aboard and the air conditioning working hard, while the 1.6 litre is adequate around town and works harder on a long climb or a quick overtake.

You can settle it in three ways:

Price two cars against each other only once you know their engines. A 2.0 litre car that looks dear next to a 1.6 litre one may be the fairer deal, and the reverse is true when a seller lists a 1.6 as if it were the bigger engine.

The X90 Plus and the plain X90 are two different cars

Jetour also sells a model called simply the X90, and the names collide on classified adverts all the time. The X90 Plus is a separate model with its own body and cabin. It is not an X90 with extra equipment. A listing that says X90 with the word Plus somewhere in the trim line deserves a second look, and so does a photo set that does not match the car named in the title.

The fix is quick. Check the badge on the tailgate in the photos, check the model name on the Mulkiya, and ask the seller for the chassis number before you travel to see the car. When those three agree, you know which car you are pricing. If you want the plain X90, OneClickDrive keeps a separate listing for it at used Jetour X90 in Dubai, and it may be empty on the day you look.

A big three row SUV in Dubai traffic and car parks

The appeal of the X90 Plus is room. With all three rows up it carries seven, and with the back row folded flat the boot swallows a week of shopping or luggage for an airport run. It is a long car, though, so test it in places you use every day: your building's car park ramp, the bays at the mall, the gap outside the school gate.

Most X90 Plus cars sold here have seven seats, but five seat versions exist, so count the seats in the photos and do not rely on the listing text alone. On a seven seater, fold and raise the third row yourself during the viewing. Check that the rear air vents blow cold, since passengers in the back row will notice a weak system long before the driver does.

An SUV this size costs more to keep on the road. Fuel use rises with load and city driving, the tyres are large and cost more than a compact SUV's, and every trip through a Salik gate is charged the same whatever you drive. None of that rules the car out, but it belongs in the monthly sum alongside the EMI.

Reading the odometer on a car this young

Because the X90 Plus has not been on sale long, nearly every car on the market is young, and the odometer does more to separate one from another than the year does. A reading that looks high for the age usually means one of two things. Either the owner drove a long daily commute, or the car did some kind of business work. Neither is a problem by itself, provided the servicing kept pace.

Ask how the car was used and match the answer to the service history. A car that covered a lot of distance should have a stamped record of visits to match, at the intervals Jetour sets. A low reading with no record at all is the weaker buy, because nobody can tell you whether the first service was ever done. Low kilometres also matter at resale, since the next buyer will ask you the same questions.

How much factory warranty is left, and who can use it

On a young Chinese SUV the remaining factory warranty is a large part of what you are paying for. The cover is counted from a start date set when the car was first sold, not from the day you buy it, so two cars of the same year can have different amounts left.

Give the chassis number to the Jetour agent and ask three things: when the cover started, what is still covered and whether it moves to a new owner. Ask the same question about the engine and gearbox cover, which on some brands runs longer than the general warranty. A dealer may also offer its own warranty on top. If so, read what it covers and who pays the garage before you treat it as equal to the factory one.

What decides the asking price of a pre owned X90 Plus

Two cars of the same year can be listed a long way apart. The engine is the first reason, as the 2.0 litre car should cost more than the 1.6 when everything else is equal. After that come the kilometres, the factory warranty left, and whether the car has a clean accident record and a full service book.

Colour and seller type move the number too. A dealer price often includes preparation, a short dealer warranty and help with paperwork, while a private seller may ask less and offer none of those things. Compare like with like, and treat a price well below similar cars as a reason to ask more questions.

Checks to make before you pay for an X90 Plus

Book an independent inspection at a garage you choose, and add these points to it:

Monthly payments, Emirates NBD pre-approval and the transfer

Many X90 Plus buyers pay over time. Each listing on OneClickDrive shows an estimated EMI, and OneClickDrive works with Emirates NBD on car loan pre-approval within 24 hours, provided you meet the bank's eligibility criteria. Some listings also show a lower or zero down payment, and the listing itself tells you whether that car qualifies.

When the money is agreed, the car moves into your name at an RTA approved centre. Bring your Emirates ID and driving licence, the seller brings the current Mulkiya, and the car needs a valid test. A car still under a loan needs a clearance certificate from the lender before the transfer can go through. Arrange insurance in your name before you drive away, because the seller's policy does not follow the car.

Finding the right X90 Plus through OneClickDrive

Each used Jetour X90 Plus for sale in Dubai on OneClickDrive is posted by its seller, a dealer or a private owner, and you contact that seller directly. The advert shows the photos, the spec, the kilometres and the EMI estimate, so you can shortlist cars before you drive across town. OneClickDrive adds nothing to the price you agree with the seller.

If you are open to a car from another emirate, the search covers the used Jetour X90 Plus for sale in UAE as well, including the X90 Plus in Abu Dhabi. Some dealers list the same car in more than one city, so compare the photos and the kilometres before you count it twice. Anyone weighing the X90 Plus for sale in Dubai against a smaller Jetour can compare the X70 Plus, the X70 and the boxier T2, or see every model on the used Jetour listings. Buyers set on a new car can check new Jetour X90 Plus prices first and decide whether a young used one is the better value. Other buyers compare an X90 Plus for sale in UAE against cars from other brands across all used cars in Dubai.

经常问的问题

Does a used Jetour X90 Plus have a 1.6 or a 2.0 litre engine?

It can have either. Jetour sold the X90 Plus with a 1.6 litre turbo and a 2.0 litre turbo, both petrol, both with a dual clutch automatic. Many adverts only say Luxury, which was used with both engines, so ask the seller or give the chassis number to the Jetour agent to confirm.

Is the X90 Plus the same car as the Jetour X90?

No. Jetour designed and sells them as two models, each with its own body. Check the tailgate badge and the model name on the Mulkiya to be sure which car an advert is selling.

How many seats does the X90 Plus have?

Most cars sold in the UAE have seven seats in three rows. Five seat versions also exist, so count the seats in the photos and ask the seller if the advert does not say.

Does a used X90 Plus have a sunroof, cruise control and a rear view camera?

Equipment on the X90 Plus changes with the trim and the year, so finding a rear view camera, parking sensors, cruise control, a sunroof or leather seats on one listing does not mean the next car has them. Read the features list on each advert, then test every item during the viewing before you agree a price.

Can a second owner use the remaining Jetour warranty?

That depends on Jetour's terms for the car, and the cover is counted from when it was first sold. Give the chassis number to the Jetour agent and ask how much cover is left and whether it transfers.

Why do two X90 Plus cars of the same year have such different prices?

The engine size, the kilometres, the warranty left and the accident record explain most of the gap. Dealer preparation and a dealer warranty add to the price, while a private sale often comes without them.

Can I buy a used X90 Plus on monthly payments?

Yes. Each listing shows an estimated EMI, and Emirates NBD can give pre-approval within 24 hours if you meet its criteria. Some cars carry a low or zero down payment, and the listing says which.

What should I bring to transfer an X90 Plus into my name?

Your Emirates ID and driving licence, plus insurance in your name. The seller brings the Mulkiya, the car needs a valid test, and any bank loan must be cleared with a clearance certificate before the RTA will register the car to you.
