If a seller tells you a right hand drive car can be registered, ask for that in writing with the RTA reference, and do not pay anything until you have it.

Export Only and Brand New Tags in the Used Search

Some Maxus listings carry an Export Only tag. The seller is offering that vehicle to leave the country, and it may not be possible to register it here at all. For a local buyer the tag is a warning sign, not a bargain. Ask the seller directly whether this particular vehicle can be registered with the RTA in your name before you arrange a viewing.

You will also see Maxus vehicles with almost nothing on the odometer and a Brand New label, listed among second hand stock by traders. Treat those as new cars bought outside the official network.
